Week 12 - Pinwheel Star

Hi ladies, here we are at Week 12 for our Sew A Long and this we we are making the Pinwheel Star - a combination of half square triangles and pinwheels - yes, another star block!

This week the half square triangles are made a slightly different way. Once you have cut out your squares, you will be cutting them in half diagonally. You need to do this as there are different pair combinations that make up the Star.

Each year we have a Quilting Retreat, a great way to spend the weekend - plus a few days extra as well. You get to sew and chat and eat and sew some more. I have been at the Retreat last week and will be posting some photos of all the projects that the ladies were working on. I must admit I get very envious of these amazing things being made and completed. I love to see the way other people put colours together, very inspiring for sure.
