Class Policies

All Class fees must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  • Your class fee covers your tuition & morning/afternoon tea. Requirements for the class are additional unless otherwise stated.

  • If we cancel a class, we will refund your class fee or hold a credit for you.

  • If you have to cancel a class you have booked, you can transfer to an alternative date if available. You will need to give us at least 14 days notice that you are not able to make the class. You can only transfer to another class once. If there is not a class available, you will have a credit for a future class of your choice. Excluding our monthly Get Together Class.

  • If there is less than 14 days notice, you will get a shop credit of 50% of your class fee as a shop credit for a future class of your choice.

  • If there is less than 7 days notice, there is no refund of the class fee.

  • There are no class refunds for guest and international tutors classes.

  • Please have all the requirements and bring to the class.

  • Your machine needs to be in good working order. Have a wee practice before the class if you haven’t used it for a while or if you have borrowed a machine


Retreat Booking Policy

  • In the unlikely event we have to cancel the Retreat we will refund your fees or carry forward to another Retreat date of your choice.

  • If you have to cancel a Retreat, you can transfer to an alternative date if available. You will need to give us at least 14 days notice that you are not able to make the Retreat. You can only transfer to another Retreat once. If there is not a Retreat available, you will have a credit for a future Retreat of your choice.

  • If there is less than 14 days notice, you will get a credit of 50% of your Retreat fee as a credit for a future Retreat of your choice.

  • If there is less than 7 days notice, there is no refund of the Retreat fee.


Order Processing

Thank you for shopping with us. All our orders are sent with in 7 days of receiving your payment – usually quicker.  We will send you an email when we receive your order and also again to let you know we have sent your order.  If for some reason there is a delay with your order, we will email you and let you know when you can expect it.

With the upheaval of COVID-19, some of our suppliers are just getting their stock in. This may cause a delay in some cases. If this is the case we will let you know when this when you order.


Block of the Month projects

Thank you for signing up for one of our block of the month projects. Once you have registered and paid your first month, you have then committed for the full program for that project.


Payment Method

All prices are shown in New Zealand dollars.

You can make your payment with Paypal, Visa, Mastercard.  New Zealand customers are welcome to pay by internet banking. We now also have afterpay as a payment option.


Returns Policy

We hope not but if there is defect or fault with your order, please email me with in 7 days.  You can return it to us complete and in the original condition sent and we will refund or exchange as desired.  Please choose your fabric carefully as we cannot accept fabric back – unless it has a fault.


Colour

Due to the nature of the internet, we have endeavoured to be as accurate and true as possible to the actual colours of fabric & patterns.  Please keep in mind that this may vary depending on our browser and screen settings.


Privacy

All information that you give us stays with us.  We will not give out your information to any third party.  Security of this information is very important to us and we will take every reasonable effort to maintain this.


Shipping

We ship with New Zealand Post which we have always been really happy with. Please be aware that we are shipping from New Zealand, so arrival times will be different to that of an American based store. Shipping times are typically as follows:

Within New Zealand – 1-3 working days.
Australia – 3-6 working days.
International – 6-10 working days.

These times are approximate, and could be longer due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Unfortunately New Zealand Post only offers tracking within New Zealand on non-express items. We are happy to quote you a price for tracked shipping to your destination if you require it, and also for express shipping.

If you are purchasing a gift for someone and would like your item gift wrapped, please let us know and we’ll be happy to do so. Also, if you’d like your item shipped directly to the recipient we can do this and pop a handwritten card in with it. Just let us know!

A note on international shipping costs – because the cost of larger and more heavy orders varies so much, you may not be able to put your order through using our checkout as the shipping has not been calculated. If this happens, please email us with what you would like to purchase and we will process your order manually. Thank you!  We want to work it out to be as easy and economical as possible.
