Week 17 - Disappearing Nine Patch

Here we are at Week 17 and our block for this week is the Disappearing Nine Patch.

I love a block that looks like you have done more work than you actually have - no sewing little squares in this block. It all happens in the making of a simple nine patch block.

I’m sure that this block would have come about by someone accidentally slicing through a block - eek! Then deciding to rearrange it and voilà  - a new block, the disappearing nine patch.

This block is perfect for a scrappy look but of course I’m still heading along the red & cream and also the blues colour options for my blocks.
