Week 31 - Card Trick

This week we are making the Card Trick block and it’s a beauty. There are a few “tricks” to this block - haha. You have four fabrics and a background work with. The tricky part is that you have to keep track of what fabrics you put together as this is what makes the interlocking pattern.

I cut out all the pieces - including the diagonal cut for the squares 3” (5”) squares and also the double diagonal cut on the 3 1/4” (5 1/4”) squares.

Once you lay these all out as shown on page 2 of the instructions, then you have a visual idea of what goes with what. I find this really helpful as well as reading along on the pattern.

I live out in the country on a beautiful property - however, the down side to this is terrible internet!!!!!!!! I will post a video on this block on our Facebook and Instagram pages on Friday.
