We’re open ….
Well, Level 3 has arrived and this means that we are able to “open” the shop.
Tuesday 28th April 2020
Wow, this is very exciting and I am so looking forward to getting back into the shop. I stopped by there yesterday for a wee look - it was lovely and I kind of had a walk around, chatting to all the fabric.
Okay, so what it means for us to be open -
“Alert Level 3: You can sell any goods to customers by phone/online order and contactless delivery or collection. You cannot open your physical retail storefront to customers.”
This means that we will be open for
Phone calls
Book a virtual shopping time with me
Online orders
Contactless payments - internet banking, contactless eftpos - no cash
Contactless pick-up from the shop porch
Courier & Mail

I have been working on a whole new website while we have been in lockdown. Rather daunting but I have really enjoyed it. It’s not quite ready to go yet so our usual shop site shop.delbrookquiltcompany.com is still up and going for you. I will have all our fabrics as well as notions, patterns, batting & backings etc on the new website. Really looking forward to doing this so I can tempt you all with the gorgeous fabric we have.
Keeping my staff and myself safe is paramount and we will be observing all requirements
1 Confirm people are okay to come into your store - no customers can come into the shop at Level 3
2 Ensure physical distancing with staff
3 Maintain good hygiene, particularly hand hygiene
4 Disinfect surfaces
5 Keep records to support contact tracing if someone gets sick
So, we are all ready to go and will be ready for you come Tuesday morning. It’s been a mad time and very stressful for everyone but I am really looking forward to getting back to work and all the creative ways that we all come up with to make this new normal work.
