Stonefields Quilt - Block of the Month
There are some quilts that just have to be called an heirloom and Stonefield is definitely one for me.
This stunning quilt is design by the amazingly talented Susan Smith and I have long admired it. This quilt is a combination of applique, english paper piecing, a touch of stitchery and machine piecing.
I have needle-turned my blocks as well as machine piecing some blocks. You have options on how you would like to piece this quilt. If you are wanting to improve your needle turn or another applique methos, then this is a fantastic quilt to work on.
We are running this as a once a month Block of the Month and will run for 10 months.
